A trailblazer in every sense, Brad Gushue hails from St. John’s, Newfoundland, and has etched his name in Canadian curling history. A five-time Tim Horton’s Brier Champion skip, with victories in 2017, 2018, 2020, 2022, and 2023, Gushue's illustrious career is a testament to his unparalleled skill and determination. His journey includes remarkable achievements on the world curling stage and a bronze medal win at the 2022 Winter Olympics.

In 2006, Gushue led his team to Olympic Gold, marking a historic moment as the first Canadian team to claim the top spot in men's curling. Together, they proudly brought home the gold, making history for Newfoundland and Labrador as the first-ever Olympic gold medalists from the province.

During his address, Brad will delve into the intricacies of mentorship, teamwork, and navigating high-pressure situations. Drawing from his experiences, he'll inspire our audience with tales of leadership and the power of embracing vulnerability to forge stronger connections and achieve greatness.

The event will begin with a meet and greet reception the evening of May 8 and conclude by 11:30 a.m. on May 10 – more details will come closer to the date.
