PHYSICIAN ADMINISTRATIVE BURDEN – OFFICE OF REGULATORY AFFAIRS AND SERVICE EFFECTIVENESS
Virtual Information Session – JUNE 12 – 6:00pm – 7:00pm
In 2020, doctors in communities across the province told the Nova Scotia Office of Regulatory Affairs and Service Effectiveness that they were spending almost 500,000 hours a year on tasks that are considered ‘red tape’. Since then, the Province set a target to reduce this burden by 400,000 hours a year by the end of 2024.
Join members of the Office on June 12 to learn about the work to date to reduce this burden, what’s on the horizon, and how municipalities can help reduce red tape for doctors so they can have more time to do what they do best – care for us.
