Long Service Completion Award Program

The NSFM is offering a new Program:  Long Service Completion Awards.  This Program offers recognition to those elected officials who are retiring—either voluntarily or as the result of dissolution, and have served as an elected official for ten years and over.

If an elected official is retiring or leaving municipal office as a result of a dissolution, that elected official is eligible to receive a scroll with their years of service on it.

This Award is upon request, and the Scroll will be mailed to the Recipient.

If you are requesting the Long Service Completion Award, we will be looking for the following information:

  • Name (as it will appear on the certificate)
  • Title
  • Municipal Unit
  • Years of Service
  • Address for the Scroll to be mailed to
